Vistula Infobarka – floating cultural pavilion
Warszawa 2015
ABOUT
A visionary mobile landmark designed to reconnect the city with its river. Created in collaboration with Do Dzieła! Foundation, the Infobarka is a floating museum and information point that moves along the Vistula riverbank. With its striking, all-white silhouette reminiscent of a classic steamboat, the barge serves as a functional sculpture, blending educational purposes with a modern, high-end aesthetic. It is a testament to how architecture can activate a waterfront and create a new destination on the water.

The Infobarka is designed to blur the boundaries between the sky, the water, and the urban landscape. The interior features a monumental mirrored ceiling that reflects the river's movements, creating an immersive, ever-changing environment. While the lower deck serves as a digital info-hub with interactive displays, the rooftop terrace transforms into a vibrant stage for concerts and cultural events. Its reflective glass and minimalist form make the barge a shimmering phantom on the Vistula, offering a unique sensory experience where technology meets the raw beauty of nature.
