A Form Defined by Nature and Law
The building’s distinctive geometry is not merely an aesthetic choice—it was literally "cut" and shaped by the trajectory of sunlight rays and the strict requirements of local construction laws regarding overshadowing. This ensures that the house dynamically responds to natural light, providing optimal brightness for the residents while respecting the light access of neighboring buildings.
Functional Layout and Creative Collaboration
The interior is clearly divided into functional zones to ensure comfort for all six family members:
Ground Floor: The social heart of the home, featuring a spacious living room, an open kitchen, and an integrated garage.
Second and Third Floors: These levels are entirely dedicated to the children and the master suite, creating a private sanctuary and a quiet retreat from the city's hustle and bustle.
While NOKE Architects envisioned the overall architecture, the interior design was a result of a close collaboration with PS Collective, ensuring a seamless aesthetic transition from the exterior facade to the living spaces.Materiality and Subtle Detail
The exterior skin of the building favors refined minimalism. The walls are finished with a textured mineral plaster that plays beautifully with shifting shadows
the day. The windows, made of warm champagne-colored anodized aluminum, add a touch of sophisticated glow. A characteristic feature is the pergola surrounding the base of the building, where climbing vines introduce living greenery into this modern, sculptural urban form.
