The penthouse occupies the top floor of a new building, with windows lined with handcrafted, colorful ceramic tiles designed by Krystyna Wacławek, which became the inspiration for the interior design. Greenery also plays a significant role inside. "The owners, Ewa and Wojtek, love plants. The entire space was intended to become a backdrop for the nature that fills it but also pours in through the windows from outside," explains Karol Pasternak. Hence, the color palette was based on delicate shades of sand and warm grays.

A striking, oversized mirror by KOPI HOME is the focal point upon entering the apartment. The living area features an open plan, ending with a wall of windows overlooking the treetops. At the center of the apartment is a small inner courtyard – a green garden that spills into the interior through glass walls. Beyond them, a staircase leads to the spectacular rooftop terrace.

The interior design was based on natural materials. "We aimed to bring out and emphasize the primordial textures of quartz, marble, fabrics, and wood. Sculpting such challenging, rounded forms in stone was quite a task – it felt like sculpting artwork. Our focus on detail was at the highest level," says Ola Hyz, an architect at NOKE Architects. Mineral walls are combined with accents of brushed stone and oiled oak. Curtains were sewn from linen and cotton, and natural fabrics also reappear in the upholstered furniture elements. To enhance the sense of softness and echo the forms shaped by nature, NOKE designers avoided corners and sharp angles, favoring soft curves even in the selection of furniture. All this was to make the interior appear as a cohesive, monochromatic, flowing whole that evokes comfort and tranquility.
